Viewing and editing pull plan details
You use the Pull Plan Details page to view and edit high-level details of pull plans. This page displays high-level details of the pull plan. You can also use this page to create baselines and to delete pull plans.
To access the Pull Plan Details page:
- Click Pull Plans in the left pane. The Pull Plans page appears.
- Click a pull plan in the list.
You can also access the Pull Plan Details page by viewing a project's pull plans, then clicking a pull plan in the list.
To edit details of a pull plan:
- On the Pull Plan Details page, enter a descriptive name for the pull plan in the Title field. The title of each pull plan defaults to the name of the pull plan's first activity, truncated to 50 characters if necessary, but you can change this.
- Enter any textual notes relating to the pull plan in the Notes field.
- Click the Project Tags dropdown and select any project tags that are applicable. You can select any number of project tags.
Any tags that you select are added to the list of assigned tags beneath the Project Tags field. Click to the right of a project tag to unassign it.
To create a baseline of a pull plan, giving you a snapshot of the pull plan at this moment in time, on the Pull Plan Details page, click Create Baseline Snapshot.
Once you have created a baseline of a pull plan, you can display it on the Pull Plan Whiteboard page and compare the live pull plan data against it to see what has changed since the baseline was created.
If you delete a pull plan, any 'child' data relating to the pull plan - for example the pull plan's tasks - are also deleted.
Before you delete a pull plan, you must make sure that you no longer need to access the pull plan or any of its associated data.
To delete a pull plan:
- On the Pull Plan Details page, click Delete. A popup appears, asking if you are sure that you want to delete the pull plan.
- Click Yes to delete the pull plan.
