Resetting a server-level user's password

You use the Set Password for user dialog to change the password that a user needs to log in to the Enterprise server. This is useful in cases where a user has forgotten their password and is unable to log in. You can also use this dialog to assign a password to a user that does not currently have a password.

To access the Set Password for user dialog, select the user whose password you want to reset in the left-hand pane, then select the Change Password command from the User menu or click Change User Password.

To reset a user's password from within the Set Password for user dialog:

  1. In the left-hand pane, select the user whose password you want to reset.
  2. Enter the new password that the user will have to type in each time they log in to Asta Powerproject in the New Password field.
  3. Retype the password in the Confirm field.
  4. Click OK to confirm your changes and close the Set Password for user dialog.
