Introduction to Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore
Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore® is an add-on to Asta Powerproject. You can use it to export a simplified view of an Asta Powerproject project - or part of an Asta Powerproject project - to Procore, where the data can be viewed either as task lists, or as a Gantt chart.
You can use Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore with any version of Asta Powerproject from version 14.0.02 onwards.
Although it is possible to simply import Asta Powerproject projects into Procore, using the Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore add-on to export data from Asta Powerproject to Procore offers the following advantages:
- You do not have to export the entire project; you can choose to export the entire project, a subproject, or an Asta Powerproject Enterprise project.
- Provided they are located on the same Asta Powerproject Enterprise server, you can export different subprojects to the appropriate companies or regions that are accessible to your Procore login.
- Simplified process: you can carry out the entire export and update process from Asta Powerproject - provided a suitable Procore project exists - with no knowledge of Procore required.
- Faster transfer: you can choose to export only project changes or additions, rather than having to export the entire project each time.
- Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore automatically modifies any task names that violate Procore's naming rules, ensuring that task names are compatible with Procore and preventing rejection of your projects by Procore.
- Unless you explicitly log out of Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore, you do not need to log into Procore every time you use it.
- As an Elecosoft product, Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore can be tailored to meet your specific requirements, if sufficient customer interest is found.
Note on Citrix/Terminal Server
As Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore remembers details of the last user to log in, it is not suitable for deployment on virtual desktop or remote app systems, where many users share the same computer image.

Privacy policy
Elecosoft does not use or record any data that is exported to Procore.
We do record the Procore project ID to which a Asta Powerproject project or subproject was exported in the Asta Powerproject project itself. This enables you to connect to the correct Procore project on subsequent exports. This information is not transmitted to Elecosoft, or to any other organisation.
If you have opted into Asta Powerproject usage monitoring, which was introduced in Asta Powerproject version 16, we may record the use of an add-on and its name, but no details or login information are recorded.
Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore does not store your Procore login information; it uses a token refresh system to allow the app to continue connecting once authorised. You can revoke this at any time by clicking the Log out button in the Asta Powerproject Integration with Procore Export Settings dialog.
