Miscellaneous fields

Any dated file or URL notes that have been entered against an individual task, using either the Task tab of the Bar and Task Properties dialog or Asta Site Progress; for allocation rows, nothing is displayed. If photographs have been associated with tasks in Asta Site Progress, the file name of the photographs appear in this field.

ALT-click a file or URL note to display the Notes section of the Task tab of the Bar and Task Properties dialog, from where you can view the file or URL by clicking it. If a bar contains more than one task, you must display the bar in one-task-per-line-mode before ALT-clicking the file or URL note.

The percentage of time a task spends on the critical path during risk analysis. This field is useful if you use Risk Analysis to manage risk in your projects.

Whether a bar or task is marked for hiding. You can hide bars and tasks that are marked for hiding by clicking in the Show/Hide group on the Format tab.

The priority of the bar, task or allocation - either high, medium or low - displayed using a colour-coded 'traffic light' indicator. In a CBS or RBS view, this field displays the priority of the task, not the allocation.

If a bar, task or allocation does not have a priority assigned to it, this field displays a grey traffic light indicator unless the Zero as blank check box is selected for the field on the Table Definition Properties dialog, in which case it displays nothing at all.

• Indirection - an expression that defines the way in which you want bar or task priority to be calculated (for more information, see Calculating priority automatically).

The longest time you estimate a task could possibly take; for use with Risk Analysis.

• Override time unit - the time unit in which to display the information.

The shortest time you estimate a task could possibly take; for use with Risk Analysis.

• Override time unit - the time unit in which to display the information.

A specific distribution that should be used in order to determine the duration of the task during risk analysis, overriding the distribution that you select on the Risk Settings tab of the Risk Analysis dialog.

A value between 0 and 100 that indicates, in percentage terms, the likelihood of the task taking place; for use with Risk Analysis.

Entering a percentage other than 100 in this field makes a task a "risk event" - ie a task that has a probability of occurring but that will not definitely occur. For example, you may want to create a "risk event" task to represent a possible delay in the delivery of certain items.

Whether a bar, task or resource allocation cannot be rescheduled (usually caused by calendar conflicts).
