Changing the resources or cost centres being graphed in a histogram

To change the resources or cost centres being graphed in a histogram:

  1. Click Format histogram on the histogram toolbar, or right-click the histogram pane and select Format Histogram. The Format Histogram dialog appears.
  2. Click the Details tab.
  3. Select the resources or cost centres that you want to graph in the Resources field. You can select a resource or cost centre folder, a single resource or cost centre, or more than one resource or cost centre (or folder) at the same time. Select as many resources or cost centres as you want by selecting their check boxes. You can exclude resources or cost centres that are currently included in the histogram by clearing their check boxes.

If you want to graph task work or the days on which activities are scheduled during a project, rather than resources or cost centres, select Task in the Resources field.

Once you have made your selection, the histogram is redrawn, showing values for the new resources or cost centres.

You can also change the resource(s) being graphed by dragging a resource or cost centre from Library Explorer and dropping it on the histogram. The graphs are redrawn to include the new resource or cost centre.

Alternatively, click Resource selector on the Histogram toolbar and select the resources or cost centres that you want to graph; select Task if you want to graph task work or the days on which activities are scheduled during a project.
