Inverting pictures
Once you have added pictures to a border, you can invert them horizontally or vertically. The means that you can flip pictures over in order to create mirror images.
To invert a picture:
- Select the picture you want to invert so that you can see its handles.
- Position the cursor over one of the handles so it appears as
, then drag the handle in the direction in which you want to invert the picture. For example, drag the top left handle down the page to invert the picture vertically, or towards the bottom right corner to invert the picture horizontally and vertically. A dotted line follows the cursor, indicating the size of the picture as it is resized.
- Keep dragging the cursor beyond the outline of the picture so that the outline of the picture is inverted.
- Release the mouse button when the inverted outline of the picture is the required size.
The picture is redrawn, inverted from its original position.
You can create a mirror effect by making a copy of a picture then inverting it below the original.
