Adding pictures
You can add pictures to your borders to make them look attractive. For example, you could add your company logo, or pictures that illustrate your business or projects. You can add graphics in the following formats to your borders: BMP, EMF, GIF, JPG, PNG and WMF.
You use the button on the toolbar to draw add pictures
to a border.
To add a picture:
- Click
.
- Click and drag the cursor to outline the area that you want the picture to fill.
- Release the left mouse button when the outline is the required size and shape. You see the Picture tab of the Details dialog.
- Click Filename. You see the Open dialog. Locate and select the picture you want to add, then click Open to return to the Details dialog.
- If you want the picture to maintain its width-height aspect ratio when it is resized within the border, select the Preserve aspect ratio when sizing check box.
- If you want to store a copy of the picture within the border file, rather than referencing the picture in its current location, select the Embed Picture check box. This is useful if the picture may be moved from its current location, or if you intend to use the border on a computer on which the picture is not present.
- Click OK to close the Details dialog and add the picture to the border.
- Click away from the picture to deselect it.
You can move the picture by selecting it and dragging it across the border, and you can resize it by selecting it and dragging its handles.
