Producing field evidence reports
Once an Administrator user has approved all of the field evidence that is required for a plot, you can produce a field evidence report on the plot.
Field evidence reports, which are produced in PDF format, include a front page that displays general information about the project, your organisation and the selected plot, which you specify when you produce the report. This is followed by information about the tasks that have been carried out on the plot, and the individual field evidence items that have been collected and approved for each task. The tasks and field evidence items appear in the report in the order in which they appear in the field evidence template. For each field evidence item, the report displays the following:
- Details of the task to which the field evidence relates.
- A photograph.
- Precise geographical information - latitude and longitude - showing exactly where the photograph was taken.
- The time and date at which the photograph was taken.
- Details of the mobile device on which the photograph was taken.
- The name of the user who uploaded the photograph, and the date on which the photograph was uploaded.
To produce a field evidence report for a plot:
- Click the Site Progress tab of the Backstage view.
- Click Log in and sign into Asta Siteprogress Mobile configuration using the window that appears.
- Within the Asta Powerproject project, select the expanded task or summary task that represents the plot for which you want to produce a field evidence report.
- On the Project tab of the Ribbon, in the Site Progress group, click Field Evidence Report. The Field Evidence Report dialog appears.
- Use the fields on the dialog to configure the field evidence report - see below for details of the fields on the dialog. The information you enter into the fields on this dialog, and any image you specify, will appear on the front page of the report.
- Click Generate to produce the field evidence report. Asta Siteprogress Mobile generates the report. This may take some time, depending on the amount of field evidence that has been collected for the selected plot.
- When the report is complete, it is saved in the specified location, and a popup appears, asking if you want to view the report. Click Yes to view the report, or click No to continue without viewing it.
Apart from the location and file name of the report, the information you enter into the fields on this dialog will appear on the front page of the field evidence report.
