Deleting an Enterprise server

You use the Delete Server page to delete an Enterprise server that you have created in Server Admin. The page displays details of the Enterprise server. Deleting an Enterprise server accidentally would have serious consequences, so this page requires you to enter the name of the Enterprise server before deleting it.

To access the Delete Server page, on the Servers page, click the Actions dropdown underneath the Enterprise server to which you want to assign security groups, then click Delete.

To delete an Enterprise server:

1. Enter the name of the Enterprise server in the Re-enter server name to delete field.
2. Click Delete. You return to the Servers page and the Enterprise server is deleted.

Deleting an Enterprise server does not delete the server's project data, as this is stored in the corresponding Microsoft SQL Server database, separate from the Enterprise server itself.
