Creating a new Enterprise server

You use the Create New Server page to create new Enterprise servers. You create Enterprise servers from images that have been downloaded from the Cloud and cached on the host machine.

To access the Create New Server page, click Create New on the Servers page.

To create a new Enterprise server:

1. Enter a name with which to identify the Enterprise server in the Name field.
2. The Available images field displays the various Enterprise server images that have been downloaded. Select the correct image for the Enterprise server you want to create. Elecosoft's Technical Support department will advise which image to use if you are unsure.
3. In the Database location field, specify whether Asta Powerproject data is going to be stored in a Microsoft SQL Server instance on the host machine, or on a different machine. If the SQL Server instance is located on a different machine to the host, the bulk insert folder must be shared on the network.
4. Click Create. You return to the Servers page, where a card appears for the new Enterprise server.
