Purging crashed clients

After a client crashes, the server keeps a copy of that client's work in progress. You can specify the length of time for which work is kept by setting the timeout duration. After the timeout period, the work in progress is deleted. If you wish, you can purge crashed clients by deleting the copy of the work-in-progress immediately.

To display a list of crashed clients, enter failed at the Enterprise server command prompt.

To delete the data immediately, enter purge at the Enterprise server command prompt. The data is deleted immediately, without waiting for the timeout duration to elapse.

If you have installed the server as a service, you must first use the Controller application to display a window for the server in which you can enter commands.
