Viewing an audit log

You use the Auditing tab of the Datasource Properties dialog to view the audit logs for a data source. Every project in the data source has its own audit log file, <project name>.LOG, and its own usage log file, <project ID>_USAGE.LOG (where <project name> and <project ID> are the name and ID of the project respectively).

To view an audit log:

  1. In the left-hand pane, select the data source for which you want to view audit logs.
  2. Select the Properties command from the Datasource menu. The Datasource Properties dialog is displayed.
  3. Select the Auditing tab.
  4. Click View Audit Logs. You see the Audit Log dialog, in which you select the audit log you want to view.
  5. Click Browse to access a dialog in which you can select the folder in which the audit logs are located.
  6. In the Audit Log dialog, double-click the required audit log to view it.
