Setting options for new data sources

You use the Datasource Creation Options dialog to change the default settings for new data sources. The default settings define the way in which new data sources are created. You can choose whether all server-level users are automatically given access to new data sources and whether new data sources are set to produce audit logs.

To access the Datasource Creation Options dialog, select the Options command from the Datasource menu.

To set options for new data sources:

1. Specify whether all server-level users are automatically given access to new data sources in the Users have access to datasources by default field.
2. Specify whether new data sources are set to produce audit logs in the New datasources set to produce audit logs field.
3. Click OK to confirm your changes and close the Datasource Creation Options dialog.
