Backstage view - Print tab
You use the Print tab of the Backstage view to preview and print the current view of the project that is currently active. A small preview of how the active project will look when it is printed is displayed, along with buttons that you can use to print the project, change your print settings and display a more detailed print preview.
How to access the Backstage view
To access the Backstage view, click the File tab.
Explanation of the buttons on the Print tab

| Print Now | Click this button to print the active view immediately, using the current print settings. The view will be printed as it appears in the preview to the right. |
| Print Options |
Click this button to display the Print dialog, which you can use to change your current print settings. For example, you may want to apply a different border to the project, select a different printer or change your current page layout settings.

| Full Preview |
Click this button to display a more detailed preview of the active view as it will be printed. The Print Preview window appears, in which you can change the way in which the active view will appear when printed using the Print Preview toolbar buttons.

How do I...
... print the active view immediately?
Click Print Now. The view will be printed as it appears in the preview to the right.
... change my current print settings?
- Click Print Options. The Print dialog appears.
- Specify the print settings that you want to apply when printing the project, then click Print to print the active view, or Close to save your revised print settings without printing.
... display a more detailed preview?
Click Full Preview. The Print Preview window appears, in which you can change the way in which the active view will appear when printed using the Print Preview toolbar buttons.
