Ribbon Customisation dialog - Quick Access Toolbar tab
You use the Quick Access Toolbar tab of the Ribbon Customisation dialog to modify the commands that are located on the Quick Access toolbar. You can add commands to the toolbar, remove commands from the toolbar and modify the position of commands on the toolbar. You can also specify whether the Quick Access toolbar should be displayed above or below the Ribbon.
How to access the Ribbon Customisation dialog
To access the Ribbon Customisation dialog, right-click the Ribbon or click the drop-down arrow to the right of the Quick Access toolbar, then select Customise from the menu that appears.
Explanation of the fields and buttons on the dialog

| Command list | A list of the commands in the currently-selected category. Click a command to select it. If you know the name of the command that you want to find, click in the field and enter the initial letter of the command to make the list scroll to those commands that begin with that letter. |
| Add | Click this button to add the command that is currently selected in the Command list to the Quick Access toolbar. The command is added to the end of the Quick Access toolbar command list. |
| Remove | Click this button to delete the command that is currently selected in the Quick Access toolbar command list from the Quick Access toolbar. |

A list of the commands that are currently included on the Quick Access toolbar. Click a command to select it - either to remove it from the Quick Access toolbar, to change its position within the toolbar, or (in the case of macro commands) to change its name and icon.

... add a command to the Quick Access toolbar?
- Locate the command that you want to add to the Quick Access toolbar by selecting the appropriate category in the Choose commands from field and selecting the command in the Command list that appears directly underneath it. If you know the name of the command that you want to find, click in the field and enter the initial letter of the command to make the list scroll to those commands that begin with that letter.
- Click Add.
... remove a command from the Quick Access toolbar?
- Locate the command that you want to remove in the Quick Access toolbar command list.
- Click Remove.
... change the position of a command?
- Locate the command that you want to move in the Quick Access toolbar command list.
- Click to move the selected command up one position in the list - moving it one position to the left on the toolbar - or click to move it down one position - moving it one position to the right on the toolbar.
... change the name, description and icon of a macro command?
- Locate the macro command that you want to modify in the Quick Access toolbar command list.
- Click Modify. A dialog in which you can change the name, description and icon of the macro command appears.
- Enter a new name and description to apply to the macro command, select a different icon if required and click OK.

Select the Show Quick Access toolbar below the Ribbon check box to display the Quick Access toolbar below the Ribbon, or clear the check box to display it above the Ribbon.
