Check-In Programme/Check-In Programme and Submit/Commit Programme Changes dialog
You use the Check-In Programme dialog to record details of changes that you have made to a programme before checking it into Asta Vision.
You use the Check-In Programme and Submit dialog to record details of changes that you have made to a programme before submitting it to Asta Vision.
You use the Commit Programme Changes dialog to record details of changes that you have made to a programme before committing the changes to Asta Vision without checking in the programme.
How to access these dialogs
- To access the Check-In Programme dialog, on the Home tab, in the Vision group, click the Check-In dropdown and select the Check-In command.
- To access the Check-In Programme and Submit dialog, on the Home tab, in the Vision group, click Submit.
- To access the Commit Programme Changes dialog, on the Home tab, in the Vision group, click the Check-In dropdown and select the Commit Changes command.
Explanation of the fields and buttons on these dialogs

| Revision name | Enter a name to apply to the latest revision of the programme. |
| Describe the programme changes | Enter details of the changes you have made to the programme. |
| Attachment | Depending on the way in which Asta Vision is configured, you may be able to attach a file to the programme when you check it in or submit it. If you can, an Attachment button is displayed. If you want to attach a file to the programme, click this button and use the dialog that appears to select the file that you want to attach. If you attach a file when checking in or submitting a programme, a new programme comment is recorded against the programme, with the file attached. In addition to this, the files you attach are attached to the emails that are sent automatically as a result of the check in or submit, as part of your workflow. This makes it easier for reviewers to access any files relating to the checked in or submitted programme. |
| Copy from Chart Properties | Click this button if you want to copy information from the Revision number field, on the Chart tab of the Chart/Project Properties dialog, into the Revision name field on this dialog, and to copy information from the Revision comment field, on the Chart tab of the Chart/Project Properties dialog, into the Describe the programme changes field on this dialog. This might be useful if you populate the details of charts in Asta Powerproject before checking in or committing Asta Vision programmes. |
