Permanent Resource Properties - Levelling dialog
You use the Permanent Resource Properties - Levelling dialog to specify the default way in which resource levelling can affect allocations of the selected permanent resource allocation.
If the permanent resource has more than one skill, you can select the skill under which you want to edit the permanent resource using the skill selector at the bottom of the dialog.

To access the Permanent Resource Properties - Levelling dialog, click the Levelling button on the Permanent Resource Properties dialog.

Can be delayed |
Select this check box to specify that the start date of the resource's allocations can be delayed by resource levelling, or clear the check box to specify that the resource's allocations cannot be delayed by levelling.
Even if you clear this check box to prevent the start date of allocations from being delayed, the finish date of allocations can be changed if you select the Can be stretched check box. |
Can be split | Select this check box to specify that the resource's allocations can be divided into two or more individual allocations split by a period of time during resource levelling, or clear the check box to indicate that the resource's allocations must remain whole. |
Can be stretched | Select this check box to specify that the duration of the resource's allocations can be increased by resource levelling, or clear the check box to specify that the duration of the resource's allocations cannot be increased by levelling. |

For permanent resources that have more than one skill, select the skill under which you want to edit the permanent resource's levelling details. You can then specify different levelling details for the resource in each skill.

How do I...

- If the resource has more than one skill, select the skill for which you want to edit the resource's levelling details.
- Select the Can be delayed check box to specify that the start date of the resource's allocations can be delayed during resource levelling, or clear the check box to prevent the start date of the resource's allocations from being delayed.
