Format Histogram dialog - Details tab
You use the Details tab of the Format Histogram dialog to specify the resources or cost centres and the histogram report that are included in the selected histogram.

To access the Format Histogram dialog, right-click an open histogram and select Format Histogram, or click on the Histogram toolbar.

The Details tab displays the following fields and buttons:
Field/Button | Description |

View title | The title of the current view. |
Row | The number of the row within the histogram pane in which the selected histogram appears. |
Position | The numeric position within the histogram pane at which the selected histogram appears. |
Resources |
Select the resources and/or cost centres to graph in the histogram. You can select a resource or cost centre folder, a single resource or cost centre, or more than one resource or cost centre (or folder) at the same time. Select as many resources or cost centres as you want.
If you want to graph task work or the days on which activities are scheduled during a project, rather than resources or cost centres, select Task in the Resources field.

Report |
Select the histogram report to include in the histogram. Histogram reports contain all the information required to generate a histogram, including display options and the resource definition graphs to be included.

Edit | Click this button to edit the selected histogram report. |
New | Click this button to create a new histogram report. |
In addition to the above fields and buttons, Save to Defaults, Load from Defaults and Reset Defaults buttons are displayed at the bottom of the dialog. These buttons have no effect on the resources or histogram report that you select on this tab.
How do I...

Select the resources and/or cost centres that you want to graph in the histogram in the Resources field. Select as many resources as you want.
If you want to graph task work or the days on which activities are scheduled during a project, rather than resources or cost centres, select Task in the Resources field.

Select the histogram report that you want to use in the Report field, which lists all the existing histogram reports in the project.
If none of the histogram reports listed suit your purpose, click New to create a new histogram report. Alternatively, select an existing histogram report and click Edit to amend it.
