Creating a calendar without using a wizard

If you choose to create calendars without using the Calendar Wizard, you use the Calendar Properties dialog to specify details of your calendars. Creating calendars in this way is not as simple as creating them using the wizard, but it may appeal to advanced users who wish to create very detailed and individual calendars.

To create a calendar without using the Calendar Wizard:

  1. Open Library Explorer.
  2. Click Calendar in the tree view.
  3. Right-click a blank area of the list view and select New Calendar. A text insertion cursor appears in the first blank row in the Name column.
  4. Enter a name for the calendar and press ENTER.
  5. Right-click the row that represents the new calendar and select Properties. The Calendar Properties dialog appears.
  6. Use the Calendar Properties dialog to specify the details of the new calendar.
