Moving items
Once you have placed an item on a border, for example a shape, line, text box or picture, you can move it to alter its position within the border. If you need to place an item in a precise position within a border, you can move it pixel-by-pixel. As well as moving items within a single border, you can copy items from one border to another.

- Position the cursor over the centre of the item you want to move.
- Click the left mouse button and drag the cursor in the direction you want to move the item. An outline of the item follows the cursor.
- Release the mouse button when the outline of the item is in the required position.
If you hold down CTRL while you drag the outline of the item, the item is copied to the new location rather than moved when you release the mouse button. You can move more than one item at the same time by selecting the items you want to move first.

- Select the item you want to move.
- Use the left, right, up and down arrow keys to move the item one pixel at a time horizontally and vertically.
- Click away from the item to deselect it.

- Open the border containing the item you want to copy and the border to which you want to copy the item. Make sure you can see both windows on the screen at the same time.
- Position the cursor over the centre of the item you want to move.
- Hold down SHIFT.
- Click the left mouse button and drag the item across onto the border to which you want to copy it. An outline of the item follows the cursor.
- Release the mouse button and SHIFT when the outline of the item is in the required position.
