Exporting projects from Asta Powerproject for use in Asta Connect

If you have used Asta Powerproject to create and plan a project - or 'master schedule' - you need to export the project in JSON format before it can be imported into Asta Connect.

To export a project from Asta Powerproject for use in Asta Connect:

In Asta Powerproject, open the project that you want to use in Asta Connect.
On the Add-Ins tab of the Ribbon, in the Asta Connect group, click Export. The Export to Asta Connect dialog appears.
Browse to the folder in which you want to save the resulting JSON file, enter a name for the file in the File name field then click Save. The project is exported into JSON format and saved in the specified folder.

Depending on the size of the project you are exporting, the export may take some time.

Once the export is complete, you can import the JSON file into Asta Connect.
