Making user-defined fields available in Asta Site Progress

If you have defined any task or milestone-type user-defined fields in a project to store information that is not accommodated by the default Asta Powerproject interface, you can make some or all of these fields available to Mobile users. You use the Site Progress Project Settings dialog to select the user-defined fields that you want to make available to Mobile users and which of these fields should be editable by Mobile users.

To specify which user-defined fields are available in Asta Site Progress:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Site Progress group, click Project Settings. The Site Progress Project Settings dialog appears, displaying any user-defined fields in the project that have already been made available in Asta Site Progress.
  2. To make another user-defined field available in Asta Site Progress, click Add. A dialog appears in which you can select a task or milestone-type user-defined field. Select the field and click OK to return to the Site Progress Project Settings dialog.
  3. For each user-defined field, click in the Editable column and specify whether Mobile users should be allowed to edit the field using the Mobile app.
  4. To prevent Mobile users from viewing and editing a user-defined field, select the appropriate row in the dialog and click Remove. The user-defined field is removed from the list and is no longer available in Asta Site Progress.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.
