Enabling and disabling Asta Siteprogress in your projects
You can use Asta Siteprogress with both local and server-based projects.
Enabling Asta Siteprogress in a project
To use Asta Siteprogress with a project, you must enable Asta Siteprogress in the project. You can do this in one of two ways.
Either:
- Click the Site Progress tab of the Backstage view.
- Click Log in and sign into Asta Siteprogress configuration using the window that appears.
- On the Site Progress tab of the Backstage view, in the Displaying jobs field, select 'Ready to export'. A list of exportable jobs appears in the grid - one job for each project.
- To enable Asta Siteprogress in a local project, click Add Project. If you are using Asta Enterprise, an arrow appears to the right of the Add Project button. Click this arrow and select Enterprise to enable Asta Siteprogressin an Asta Enterprise project. A dialog appears.
- Select the project in which you want to enable Asta Siteprogress and click Open or OK.
Or:
- Open the project in Asta Powerproject.
- Click the Site Progress tab of the Backstage view.
- Click Log in and sign into Asta Siteprogress configuration using the window that appears.
- On the Project tab of the Ribbon, in the Site Progress group, click Enable/Update Site Progress.
Disabling Asta Siteprogress in a project
If you want to stop using Asta Siteprogress with a project, you must disable Asta Siteprogress in the project. To do this:
- Click the Site Progress tab of the Backstage view.
- Click Log in and sign into Asta Siteprogress configuration using the window that appears.
- On the Site Progress tab of the Backstage view, in the Displaying jobs field, select 'Ready to export'. A list of exportable jobs appears in the grid - one job for each project.
- Right-click a job that relates to the project with which you no longer want to use Asta Siteprogress and select Remove from export list from the menu that appears.
