Viewing Asta Siteprogress Mobile logs

You can view two different types of Asta Siteprogress Mobile log:

  • Local logs - this shows any problems or errors that have occurred that may require your attention.
  • Portal log - this shows the activities that are carried out when exporting and importing information. Each time you import or export information, an entry is added to this log.

The logs are updated automatically as you work with Asta Siteprogress Mobile.

To view Asta Siteprogress Mobile logs:

  1. Click the Site Progress tab of the Backstage view.
  2. Click Log in and sign into Asta Siteprogress Mobile configuration using the window that appears.
  3. Click Logs. The Site Progress Logs dialog appears.
  4. Click the Local logs or Portal logs radio button to specify the log that you want to view. The selected log appears.
  5. When you have finished reviewing the logs, click Close to return to the Site Progress tab of the Backstage view.

If you encounter a problem with Asta Siteprogress Mobile, the logs can help Elecosoft to diagnose the cause. If you are asked to send information from the logs to Elecosoft, click Copy to Clipboard on the Site Progress Logs dialog to copy the information to the Windows Clipboard, from where you can paste it into an email.
