Viewing an Enterprise server's properties and editing server options

You use the Server Details page to view the properties of Enterprise servers and to edit Enterprise server options. The upper part of the page displays information about the selected Enterprise server that may be of use to network administrators.

To access the Server Details page, on the Servers page, click the Actions dropdown underneath the Enterprise server you want to edit, then click Details.

To edit Enterprise server options:

  1. If you want to enable users to log in automatically to projects that are located on this Enterprise server via Active Directory, select the Active Directory auto login check box. Clear this check box if you do not want to enable automatic log in.
  2. The Asta Powerproject Enterprise system is complemented by a 'trace' service, the purpose of which is to gather diagnostic data and publish it to files to assist Elecosoft's Technical Support Department in tracking down issues. Specify the level at which the trace service gathers information from the server in the Trace level field. You can specify any number from 1 to 4, or select 0 to turn the trace service off.
  3. Click Save Server Options. You return to the Servers page.
