Multiple Display Resources dialog
You use the Multiple Display Resources dialog to specify which resources and resource folders to use to colour tasks on the bar chart. Depending on the way in which you accessed the dialog, the dialog displays either the permanent resource hierarchy or the consumable resource hierarchy. Tasks are coloured using the appearance of whichever of the selected resources have been assigned to them.
You can use more than one individual resource or resource folder at a time to colour tasks. If you do this and a task is assigned more than one of the selected resources or resource folders, the order in which the resources and resource folders appear in the Show resources in this order field on this dialog determines which resource or resource folder is used to colour the task. Resources at the top of the list take priority over those lower down the list. If a task is assigned more than one of the selected resources or resource folders, its appearance is taken from the resource or resource folder that appears nearest the top of this list.

To access the Multiple Display Resources dialog, either:
- Having clicked either Permanent resources or Consumable resources, click the Display button on the Tasks tab of the Format Bar Chart dialog.
- Right-click a permanent or consumable resource - or a resource folder - in the project view and select Multiple Display Resources.
