Ribbon Customisation dialog - Keyboard tab
You use the Keyboard tab of the Ribbon Customisation dialog to customise the keyboard shortcuts that are applied to commands.

To access the Ribbon Customisation dialog, right-click the Ribbon or click the drop-down arrow to the right of the Quick Access toolbar, then select Customise from the menu that appears.

Field/Button | Description |

Category |
Select a category in order to display the commands in that category in the Commands field. Select:
Macros are not available in Asta Powerproject SaaS. |
Commands | A list of the commands in the currently-selected category. Click a command to view and maintain its keyboard shortcut. If you know the name of the command that you want to find, click in the field and enter the initial letter of the command to make the list scroll to those commands that begin with that letter. |
Key assignments | The keyboard shortcut that is currently assigned to the selected command, if any. |
Press new shortcut key | Click in this field and press the sequence of keys that correspond to the keyboard shortcut that you want to assign to the selected command. For example, if you want to assign a keyboard shortcut of ALT + SHIFT + CTRL + H to a command, press ALT, SHIFT, CTRL and H in sequence. The key sequence that you press appears in this field. |
Description | A description of the selected command. |
Assign | Click this button to assign the keyboard shortcut that you have just entered in the Press new shortcut key field to the selected command. |
Remove | Click this button to remove the keyboard shortcut that is selected in the Key assignments field from the selected command. |
Reset All | Click this button to reset the keyboard shortcuts on all commands to their default settings. |
How do I...

- Select the category in which the command to which you want to assign a keyboard shortcut is located in the Category field.
- Select the command in the Commands field. If you know the name of the command that you want to find, click in the field and enter the initial letter of the command to make the list scroll to those commands that begin with that letter.
- If a keyboard shortcut is currently assigned to the command, it appears in the Key assignments field. Select the keyboard shortcut in this field and click Remove to remove the current keyboard shortcut from the command.
- Click in the Press new shortcut key field and press the sequence of keys that correspond to the keyboard shortcut that you want to assign.
- Click Assign.

- Select the category in which the command from which you want to remove a keyboard shortcut is located in the Category field.
- Select the command in the Commands field. If you know the name of the command that you want to find, click in the field and enter the initial letter of the command to make the list scroll to those commands that begin with that letter.
- The keyboard shortcut that is currently assigned to the command appears in the Key assignments field. Select the keyboard shortcut in this field and click Remove to remove the current keyboard shortcut from the command.

Click Reset All.
