You can embed borders within a project so that they can always be used for printing even if the original border file itself is not distributed with the project. Embedded borders are listed alphabetically at the top of the Border file field, followed by an alphabetical list of the borders that are available in the default Border files folder.
To embed a border into the current project, select a border file and click Embed. To delete an embedded border from the project, select it and click Delete.
You can specify whether you want to print the border around the output or around each individual page of the output on the Scaling tab.
You can edit the selected border in Powerdraw by clicking Edit if required.

If your organisation has uploaded one or more border files using Asta Vision's Global Files page to make them available to all users, you can download these borders and use them when printing:
- Click the dropdown to the right of the Browse button and select Vision from the menu that appears. The Download From Asta Vision dialog appears (if you are not currently signed into Asta Vision, you need to sign in before the dialog appears).
This dialog displays a list of all the border files that have been uploaded using Asta Vision's Global Files page. The Status column displays 'New' for borders that you have not yet downloaded; 'Updated' for borders that you have downloaded where a more recent version is available to download; and nothing for borders where you have already downloaded the latest version. - Select a border and click Download to download the border file to your local 'Border' folder, as specified on the File Locations tab of the Options dialog, and to select it in the Border file field on the Print dialog.

- Select the page size, for example A3 or A4, in the Printer page size field.
- Select the orientation with which to print, for example portrait or landscape, in the field to the right of the Printer page size field.
If you are printing a border around the output, make sure that the page size and orientation of the border matches that of the paper you are using.

Enter a range of dates in the Date range group.

Select the language in the Language field. You can only select a different language in this field if the selected border file has been configured with text translations in more than one language.

Specify the order you want in the Print order field. The print order affects how pages of the output are numbered.
