Path to/from Task Options dialog
You use the Path to/from Task Options dialog to specify which types of link you want to include when displaying the current view in 'path to task' or 'path from task' mode. 'Path to task' mode displays the complete chain of linked predecessor tasks that lead up to the currently-selected task, from the earliest task(s) in the chain(s) to the currently-selected task itself. 'Path from task' mode displays the complete chain of linked successor tasks that lead from the currently-selected task, from the task itself to the latest task(s) in the chain(s). You can choose to include all linked predecessor or successor tasks, or only those that are linked by driving links - ie links that 'drive' the tasks at the end of them.

To access the Path to/from Task Options dialog:
- Select the task whose predecessors or successors you want to view.
- On the View tab, in the Views group, click the View dropdown and select either Path to Task or Path from Task.
