The Object Chooser dialog appears when you insert a field into an annotation.

Data |
Specify whether the field refers to information in the current project or in a baseline.
If you have associated different baselines with individual projects, you can configure the field to display information from the project baselines by selecting Project Baseline.

Use current chart | Select this check box if you want the field to refer to an object in the current chart, or clear the check box if you want it to refer to information elsewhere. |
Project hierarchy | If you specify that the field should refer to a chart other than the current chart, select the chart to which the field should refer. |
Bar | Select the bar |
Task | Select the task |
Allocation | Select the allocation |
Completed section | Select the completed section of the task to which the field should refer. |
Depending on the field you choose, whether the annotation is attached to a task or an allocation and whether the task or allocation is completed, one or more additional parameters may also be displayed in the Parameters group.
How do I...

- Specify whether the field refers to information in the current project or in a baseline in the Data field.
- Select the Use current chart check box if you want the field to refer to an object in the current chart, or clear the check box and select a different chart if you want it to refer to information elsewhere.
- Select the bar, task, allocation and completed section (where applicable) to which you want the field to refer.
- You can configure the way in which each field is displayed by editing the attributes that appear in the Parameters group. As you can configure different fields in different ways, the Parameters group displays different parameters, depending on the field that is currently selected.
