Material Properties dialog
You use the Material Properties dialog to maintain details of the different items that are used when modelling tasks in terms of task work without using resources.
Materials are similar to consumable resources - they are resources that are depleted by their use in a project. Concrete, bricks, water and steel are examples of consumable resources or materials. Use materials rather than consumable resources if you want to model tasks in terms of task work without having to assign consumable resources to them.

To access the Material Properties dialog, right-click a material in Library Explorer and select Properties.
