Consumable Allocation Properties dialog - Progress tab
You use the Progress tab of the Consumable Allocation Properties dialog to view details of the progress of the selected consumable resource allocation. You can also use this tab to enter a percentage complete value which is independent of the actual progress marked on the allocation and exclude the completed cost and income from any task cost calculations, including any roll-up costs on parent tasks. This may be useful if the cost or income is accounted for elsewhere in the project.

To access the Consumable Allocation Properties dialog, right-click a consumable resource allocation and select Properties.

Field | Description |
---|---|
Percent complete | The percentage of the allocation that has been completed. |
User percent complete | Enter a percentage complete value which is independent of the actual progress marked on the allocation. This may be useful if you want to keep a record of your progress on an allocation without it affecting the actual progress. For example, if an allocation is 50% complete, but for internal reasons you want to mark it as 20% complete officially, you could enter 50% in this field for your own records, but mark actual progress on the allocation as 20%. |
Quantity done | The percentage of the allocation's quantity that has been completed. |
Quantity remaining | The quantity that remains to be completed. |
Actual cost | The amount of the allocation's cost that has been completed. |
Cost remaining | The cost that remains to be completed. |
Actual income | The amount of the allocation's income that has been completed. |
Income remaining | The income that remains to be completed. |
Cost percent complete | The percentage of the allocation's cost that has been completed. For example, if £100 of a total cost of £1,000 has been spent, the allocation's cost is 10% complete. |
Income percent complete | The percentage of the allocation's income that has been completed. For example, if £100 of a total income of £1,000 has been achieved, the allocation's income is 10% complete. |
Accounted for elsewhere | Select this check box to exclude the allocation's completed costs from any task cost calculations, including roll-up costs on parent tasks, or clear the check box to include the costs in such calculations. |
