Cancel Book Out dialog
You use the Cancel Book Out dialog to forcibly unbook a destination project, terminating the connection between the master project and the destination project. The dialog displays a list of the destination projects that are currently booked out of the master project.
You can cancel any book outs that you have performed. If your security group's access rights permit it, you can also cancel book outs that have been performed by other users.

To access the Cancel Book Out dialog, on the Project tab, in the Data group, click the Book In/Out dropdown and select Cancel Book Out.

The dialog displays the following fields for each destination project:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Filename | The location and file name of the destination project. |
Date | The date and time at which the destination project was booked out. |
User | The name of the user that performed the book out. |
How do I...

- Select the check box to the left of the destination project you want to forcibly unbook.
- Click OK. The connection between the master project and the destination project is broken and the project view icons of the charts and summary groups that were booked out into the destination project return to normal.
