How to access the Backstage view
To access the Backstage view, click the File tab.
The Activation tab of the Backstage view is not available in Asta Powerproject SaaS.
Explanation of the fields and buttons on the Activation tab

| Products | A list of the |
| Add-ons | A list of any add-on Elecosoft products that you currently have installed. Click a product in the list to view its activation status. |
| Help | Click this button to display this Help topic. |
| Activation information | Activation status information about the currently selected product, including (if appropriate) the version number, the serial number and the product key. |
| Move Licence |
Click this button to relinquish your serial number and product key on this computer, so that they can be used to activate Asta Powerprojecton another computer. This is useful when you want to stop using a software product on one computer and start using it on another, for example when you upgrade to a new computer.
Depending on the type of licence you have, this option may be unavailable.

Click this button to relinquish your current licence and start using a different licence.

| Activate |
Click this button to activate a product that has not yet been activated. In order to activate a product, you normally need to enter a serial number and product key, which you can obtain from Elecosoft.

How do I...
... specify the product about which I want to view activation information?
Select the product in the Products or Add-ons list. The Activation tab is updated to display information relating to the selected product.
... activate the software?
Click Activate. The Product Activation dialog appears, in which you are prompted to enter your user details and your serial number and product key, which you can obtain from Elecosoft.
... move a licence from this computer to another?
Click Move Licence. A dialog appears, which you can use to relinquish your serial number and product key on this computer, so that they can be used to activate Asta Powerprojecton another computer.
