Specifying a default view for a project

You can specify a default view for a project, and specify that this view should be opened when any user opens a project.

To specify a default view for a project:

1. Click the File tab, click Properties, then click Advanced Properties. The Properties dialog appears.
2. Click the Properties tab.
3. Select the view that you want to be used by default when the project is opened in the Default view field.
4. Click Close to save your changes.

To specify that the project's default view should appear when the project is opened:

1. Click the File tab, then click Options. The Options dialog appears.
2. Click the View tab.
3. Select Project default view in the Restore on project open field.
4. Click Close to save your changes.
