Non modelled permanent resources

Use this modelling type if you want the resource allocation to be consumed or supplied for the full duration of the task.

Select Non Modelled in the Modelling type field and enter the number of resources that you want to assign in the Allocation field. If you adjust the duration of the task, the resource allocation is adjusted so that it continues to work for the full duration of the task.

For example, if you assign a resource to a task that is 4 days long, the resource also works for 4 days. If you increase the duration of the task to 6 days, the resource also works for 6 days (if the resource calendar permits).

When the Calculated parameter of a non-modelled permanent resource allocation is set to Allocation, it is possible to edit the allocation amount – at which point the Calculated parameter changes automatically to Effort. Similarly, when the Calculated parameter of a non-modelled permanent resource allocation is set to Effort, it is possible to edit the effort amount – at which point the Calculated parameter changes automatically to Allocation.
