Moving and copying library objects between projects

To move and copy library objects between projects, open both projects and open Library Explorer in each project, then use any of the following techniques to move or copy the objects between the projects:

  • Drag and drop.
  • Right-drag.
  • Cut, copy and paste.

If you move or copy an object, which references another object that does not exist in the destination project, the referenced object is also copied. For example, if you copy a resource and it uses a calendar that does not exist in the destination project, the calendar is also copied. Asta Powerproject tries to copy the object into the same parent folder as in the original project, but if this folder does not exist the object is copied into the root of its library.
