View categories
You use view categories to classify the views in your project. You can create as many view categories as you like, then place individual views into appropriate categories.
Categorising views in this way makes it easier to find the view you are looking for, for example when selecting a view to apply to the current project. Whenever you select a view, they are arranged into their categories, with any views that do not belong to a category being displayed below the view categories that do exist.
Once you have created a view category in Library Explorer, you assign views to the category by editing the properties of a view and selecting the category in the View Properties dialog.
You can specify that a particular colour should be applied to the tabs of all views that belong to a specific view category, overriding the default tab colour that has been set for the project.
You can edit the properties of a view category by editing options on the View Category Properties dialog. To access Help for the View Category Properties dialog, press F1 while viewing the dialog.
