Reflected links

A reflected link is a symbol used to show the existence of a link between tasks in two different subcharts. A reflected link is displayed if the parent tasks of both subcharts (that is, both expanded tasks) are in the same view, or if one expanded task and the task at the other end of the link are in the same view.

Reflected links can also be displayed between summary tasks and hammock tasks.

The reflected link appears with a dotted line

You can edit and delete reflected links but you cannot draw them directly on the bar chart. You can also move reflected links from one task to another, in the same way you can move other types of link.

You can follow the logic of a reflected link by right-clicking the link and selecting Go To Start or Go To End as appropriate.

You can choose whether to display or hide reflected links, using the Links tab of the Format Bar Chart dialog.
