Draw menu - Create Object - Text

You use the Text command to add a text box to a border. The cursor turns into a text insertion tool. You can use the text insertion tool to create text boxes in either of two ways:

  • To create a text box that sizes itself automatically to the text that you initially enter into it, click on the border in the position at which you want to enter text, type your text and press Enter.
  • To create a text box of a specific size into which you can then enter text, click and drag to create a text box of the required size, then start typing to enter text into the text box. You can create text boxes that are larger than the text that they contain, which gives you more freedom when it comes to designing attractive borders.
