Exporting risk analysis results

Once you have carried out risk analysis, you can copy details of individual iterations, or of all iterations, to the Windows® Clipboard or (provided it is installed on your computer) to a Microsoft Excel® format file. You may want to do this in order to view and manipulate the iteration information in an external application.

To copy information about an individual iteration to the Windows Clipboard, or to Microsoft Excel:

1. Select the iteration whose details you want to copy in the grid on the Results tab of the Risk Analysis dialog.
2. Click the Copy/Export control and select Copy iteration to clipboard or Copy iteration to Excel.
3. If you choose to copy information to the Windows Clipboard, you can now paste the information into an external application; if you choose to copy information to a Microsoft Excel format file, a dialog appears in which you can specify the XLS file in which to save the information.

To copy information about all iterations to the Windows Clipboard, or to Microsoft Excel:

1. Click the Copy/Export control and select Copy grid to clipboard or Copy grid to Excel.
2. If you choose to copy information to the Windows Clipboard, you can now paste the information into an external application; if you choose to copy information to a Microsoft Excel format file, a dialog appears in which you can specify the XLS file in which to save the information.
