Download Version dialog
You use the Download Version dialog to specify the version of the selected programme that you want to download from Asta Vision to your computer. You can also choose to download a specific version of a baseline.

To access the Download Version dialog, right-click an Asta Vision programme on the Open tab of the Backstage view and select Download specific version from the menu that appears.

Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | The name of the Asta Vision programme that you right-clicked on the Open tab of the Backstage view. |
Programme version | Select the version of the programme that you want to download. |
Baseline version | If you want to download a baseline as well as the programme, select the version of the baseline that you want to download. |
Display unnamed versions |
Select this check box to include versions of the programme and its baselines that have no name in the Programme version and Baseline version fields, or clear this check box to exclude unnamed versions from these fields. If you choose to include unnamed versions, they are listed according to their date.
Depending on your Asta Vision workflow, excluding unnamed versions from these fields may allow you to select from approved versions only. |
Display progress versions | Select this check box to include versions of the programme and its baselines that have been created as a result of progress actions in the Asta Vision workflow in the Programme version and Baseline version fields, or clear this check box to exclude such versions from these fields. If you choose to include these versions, you can identify them in the Programme version and Baseline version fields as they are prefixed with "Progress Date - ". |
Include progress versions as baselines |
Select this check box to include all versions of the programme in the Baseline version field, regardless of whether or not they are actually baselines, or clear the check box to list only baseline versions in this field.
If you choose to include all versions of the programme in the Baseline version field, this enables you to select any version of the programme and use it as a baseline. You may want to select an earlier version of a project and use it as if it were a baseline, to determine how the project has progressed in relation to an earlier version. |
