Working with tabbed views
Unless you have configured Project Viewer to display views in distinct windows, each view is normally displayed in its own tab. The illustration below shows a project with two views open, each in their own tab:
To switch between the tabbed views, click the tab that you want to bring into focus.
To change the ordering of tabs, click a tab and drag it to the left or to the right, depending on the direction in which you want to move it. Release the left mouse button when the tab is in the required position.
To close a tab, either click the tab's button or right-click the tab and select Close Tab from the menu that appears.
If you open more tabs than can be displayed on the screen at the same time, left and right arrows appear to the right of the visible tabs. Click these arrows to scroll left and right between the open tabs:
Arranging tabbed views into groups
You can arrange tabs into different tab groups, with each tab group containing one or more tabbed views. You may find this useful if you are displaying a large number of tabbed views at the same time. Tab groups can be arranged either vertically or horizontally.
To create a new tab group, right-click the tab that you want to move into the new group and select either Move to Horizontal Group or Move to Vertical Group. The tabbed view is moved into its own tab group, which is tiled horizontally or vertically, as illustrated below:

Two vertical tab groups |
Once you have created more than one tab group, you can move tabs from one tab group to another by clicking a tab in one group and dragging it to the line of tabs in the tab group to which you want to move it. A icon is displayed as you drag the tab from one group to another. Release the left mouse button when the tab is in the required position in the tab group to which you want to move it.
If you have more than one tab group displayed and you want to move all of the tabs back into the same group, click and drag them one by one into the same group. Once you have moved the final tab out of a tab group, the tab group disappears.
Tiling tabbed views horizontally and vertically
You can tile tabs horizontally and vertically without arranging them into different tab groups. Doing this is a good way of displaying multiple views on the screen at the same time. You may want to do this in order to view two different areas of the project hierarchy at the same time.
To tile tabbed views, click either Tile Horizontally or Tile Vertically in the Tab group on the Home tab. The tabbed views that are currently open are tiled accordingly, as illustrated below:

Untiling tabbed views
If you have arranged your project tabs into more than one tab group, or if you have tiled them horizontally or vertically, you can rearrange the open project tabs so that they all appear in a single tab group, with no tiling applied to them.
To do this, click Untile in the Tab group on the Home tab.
