Summary | IFC models take a long time to load in load balanced/Citrix environments.
Description | Before this release, Asta Powerproject 4D files (*.PBIM and *.QBIM) were cached in a temporary folder when an IFC model was opened. These files were deleted for Asta Powerproject 4D users who work in a load balanced/Citrix environment in which temporary files are deleted when a user logs out of Asta Powerproject and exits their Citrix session. The lack of cached files meant that each time they opened an IFC model in Asta Powerproject 4D, the file could take a long time to open.
Resolution |
It is now possible to configure Asta Powerproject 4D to cache these files in a different location, by editing the registry on each user's computer and adding a string value that specifies a folder that will not be cleared each time the user exits their Citrix session. Should the string value not exist in the registry or the path not be valid, the *.PBIM and *.QBIM files will be written to the %temp% directory.
To specify a different folder for cached files:
You only need to specify a different folder if you use Asta Powerproject 4D in a load balanced/Citrix environment in which temporary files are deleted when a user logs out of Asta Powerproject and exits their Citrix session. |

Summary | Unable to export Business Intelligence data using Asta Powerproject version 16.0.02 (Dutch version).
Description | A Dutch customer reported that they were unable to export Business Intelligence data using Asta Powerproject version 16.0.02. When they attempted to export the data, a warning appeared stating that the Developers' Toolkit was not installed.
Resolution | The issue that caused this problem has been resolved, so it is now possible for Dutch customers to export Business Intelligence data using Asta Powerproject version 16.0.02. |

Summary | Asta Powerproject 4D displays an IFC model incorrectly.
Description | A customer reported that when they opened an IFC file in Asta Powerproject 4D, the model was displayed incorrectly when compared with its appearance in other applications: significant portions of the model were not displayed.
Resolution | The IFC file in question was written in an unusual way: rather than having one IfcRelAggregates list of three storeys, it had three lists of one storey each, two of which were ignored by Asta Powerproject 4D. Asta Powerproject 4D is now able to display IFC files that contain more than one IfcRelAggregates list correctly. |

Category | Baselines | ||||
Summary | Importing a booked-out project as a baseline allows you to restore the rest of the project.
Description | Before this release, if you booked out a section of a project, then imported the booked out section as a baseline of a different project and used the Baseline Manager 'Revert To' function, you were able to access the entire project from which the book out was made - not just the booked out section.
Resolution | It is no longer possible to access the entirety of a project by importing a booked out section into a different project as a baseline, then reverting to that baseline. |
