Category | Import and export
Summary | Uncompleted sections added to completed tasks when importing from Microsoft Project.
Description | A customer reported that when they imported a project from Microsoft Project, uncompleted sections were added to completed tasks if they had one or more cost allocations.
Resolution | The Microsoft Project project in question used fixed task costs rather than cost allocations to record costs. Asta Powerproject incorrectly created additional cost allocation sections for completed tasks during import. Asta Powerproject now deals with fixed task costs correctly when you import from Microsoft Project. |
Issue | 32271 | ||||
Category | "Jagged progress" mode
Summary | A slip value is displayed for most summary tasks in "jagged progress" mode, which had no slip in version 15.0.01.
Description | A customer reported that a slip value was displayed for most summary tasks in a project in "jagged progress" mode, which had no slip when the project was opened in Asta Powerproject version 15.0.01.
Resolution | This problem was caused by a fix to an earlier issue, which used the resume date of tasks where necessary to calculate slip. Summary tasks have no resume date, so Asta Powerproject treated them as if they had no progress, resulting in slip values for these tasks showing the difference between the start dates of the task in the live project and in the baseline. This issue has now been addressed. |
