Applying a sort order to IFC product searches and IFC product selections

If you create tasks in a project that correspond to IFC product searches or IFC product selections, you can configure the order of the tasks that are created by applying a sort order to the IFC product searches and IFC product selections before creating tasks that correspond to them. If you do this, the tasks appear in the bar chart according to the sort order that you have applied to the IFC product searches or IFC product selections to which they correspond, with a task being created for the item with the lowest sort order first and a task being created for the item with the highest sort order last.

To apply a sort order to IFC product searches and IFC product selections:

  1. Launch Library Explorer and click either IFC Product Search or IFC Product Selection in the left pane.
  2. In the right pane of Library Explorer, enter a number in the Sort order column for each IFC product search or IFC product selection.
