Locating tasks at the end of a link
When you can only see the task at one end of a link, you can go to the other end of the link by right-clicking the link and selecting Go To Other End. The bar chart scrolls to bring the task at the other end of the link into view, or if the link is a half link or reflected link, a new window opens onto the task at the other end of the link.
When neither the task at the start nor end of the link is visible, right-click the link and select Go To Start or Go To End as appropriate. The bar chart scrolls to bring the task at the other end of the link into view, or if the link is a reflected link, a new window opens onto the task at the other end of the link.
You can also locate the tasks at the other end of links and follow the link logic in a project using the Links tab of the Bar and Task Properties dialog, or the Links tab of the properties view. These tabs display the links that are associated with individual tasks. When viewing one of these tabs, either double-click a link or right-click the entry for the link and select Go To Other End to display details of the task at the other end of the link and bring the task into view in the bar chart (provided that the Barchart follows link navigation check box on the Logic Chasing tab of the Link Settings dialog is selected).
You can change the tasks at which links start and end by editing details of the links using the Predecessors and Successors columns when they are displayed in the spreadsheet.
Links between two tasks where only one end of the link is displayed in the current view are known as half links.
