Incorporating page breaks in your printouts

You can insert two types of page break, which force a new page at specific bars when you print the view, into the bar chart:

You use the Scaling tab of the Print dialog to specify whether or not you want to incorporate these page breaks in your printouts.

Select the Use defined page breaks check box to incorporate page breaks in a printout, or clear the check box to print without respecting any page breaks.

You can also specify that a printout should include a specific number of lines (bars) per page if required. To do this, select the Fit lines per page radio button and specify the number of lines you want to print on each page. Note that 'lines' in this context refers to bars on which tasks from the live data are located: baseline bars and allocation bars are not counted in the number of lines that you specify here.

Note that page breaks only apply when you print a view with a border around each page of the printout; if you fit a single border around the entire printout, page breaks are ignored. Page breaks do not apply if you are printing a calendar view.
