Trial Extension Wizard
You use the Trial Extension Wizard to extend your initial trial licence for your Elecosoft software. The Trial Extension Wizard consists of a number of steps. Each step is clearly explained within the screens of the wizard. Note that you can only extend your initial trial licence with the agreement of Elecosoft.
How to access the Trial Extension Wizard
The Trial Extension Wizard appears when you choose to extend the trial period of your Elecosoft software.
Depending on the type of licence you have, this wizard may be unavailable.
This wizard is not available in Asta Powerproject SaaS.
To extend your initial trial licence using the Trial Extension Wizard:
- Within the wizard, specify that you want to generate a trial extension request key.
- Follow the steps within the wizard to generate a trial extension request key and email it to Elecosoft's Technical Support department.
- Once you have transferred the trial extension request key to Elecosoft, the Technical Support department will send you a licence code, which you can use to extend your trial. There may be some delay before you receive your licence code. If you wish, you can close the wizard and return to it when you receive the licence code.
- When you receive the licence code, reactivate the wizard if necessary and paste the licence code into it, then follow the remaining steps in the wizard to extend your trial licence.
