Tabular Report Wizard
You use the Tabular Report Wizard to create new tabular reports, which output project information in a tabular format similar to the spreadsheet. You can present your tabular reports in a wide variety of formats, printing them out or outputting the reports to file.
You use this page of the Tabular Report Wizard to specify the format, or formats, in which you want to produce the tabular report. You can output tabular reports to a printer or directly to a variety of file formats. You can also output tabular reports to the Windows® Clipboard (in CSV format), from where you can paste them into another application.
How to access the Tabular Report Wizard
To access the Tabular Report Wizard, on the Project tab, in the Data group, click the Reports dropdown and select New Tabular Report.
Explanation of the fields on the dialog
| Field | Description |

| Printer | Select this check box to send the report directly to a printer. |
| HTML file | Select this check box to output the report to an HTML file, the path and name of which you can specify using another page of the wizard. |
| CSV file | Select this check box to output the report to a CSV file, the path and name of which you can specify using another page of the wizard. |
| Clipboard | Select this check box to output the report to the Windows Clipboard in CSV format, from where you can subsequently paste it into another application. |
| XSL transform | Select this check box to output the report to an XSL file, the path and name of which you can specify using another page of the wizard, using an XSL stylesheet you can also specify. |
| XML file | Select this check box to output the report to an XML file, the path and name of which you can specify using another page of the wizard. |
| Excel | Select this check box to open the report in Microsoft Excel® in a new XLS file, or if you specify a path and name using another page of the wizard, to output the report to a specific XLS file without opening it. |
